ABOUT THIS MESSAGE:
Where does mission work happen? Today we have the privilege of hosting a missionary from the Philippines! It might seem that mission work is something that happens in a faraway place by faraway people. And it is good and right to support foreign mission work with our prayers and offerings! But something is a little off if we see mission work as something that’s only “over there.” By the grace of God, you and I have the distinct privilege of being witnesses of Christ who are led by Christ in triumphal procession to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. Yes, let us continue to pray for and support “over there” mission work. But let us give our undivided attention to Christ’s mission God has given us even here!
