Cracking the door open and looking inside on today's episode, we have Lorraine and Joan, who share the story of a 1969 high school graduate and track athlete who ran in the Boston Marathon and other events, winning several awards. He felt running was the only thing he was good at because he hadn't always made the best choices in his life. Tragically, his life was cut short when he was killed by a hit-and-run driver. His classmates came together to fundraise and offer scholarships with the hope of helping graduates learn from his story and choose a good path and stay on it.

She married young, had a child, and divorced soon after because of the verbal abuse she suffered. But her second marriage to her wealthy prince charming, who love-bombed her, turned out to be a terrible nightmare and a drug addict that she desperately needed to escape from. She had thoughts of ending it all. A very dark time, and she needed to find a way to survive.
