  • Making Calmness a Way of Life, Not a Mistake - The nature of practice
    2017/03/27
Three Ren Xue teachers talk about how their practice has changed their lives. Shona and Nick give us insights into increasing clarity and creativity of mind, even as we get older, how to have the energy we need, and the delight of sharing a relationship in which both people are bringing love, openness and clarity. They talk openly about conflict, and how they step lightly and create growth and strength out of these opportunities. Natalie talks about the importance of the good state and how to extend it from the practice to everyday life. She describes how this changes her relationships with her family and friends who visit. She talks about the journey from depletion to abundance, from being a busy young mother and feeling her energy going out all the time, to learning how to gather Qi and developing an internal focus of mind, so that there is plenty of energy and Qi available in every moment. And when she forgets, she has tools at hand to bring her back to herself.
