We can plant. We can water. But only God can make things grow. So who really deserves the credit for what we accomplish?

In 1 Corinthians 3:7–9, the Apostle Paul teaches a powerful lesson about human responsibility, spiritual growth, and God's sovereignty.

Writing to a church divided over its spiritual leaders, Paul reminds the Corinthian believers that neither the person who plants nor the person who waters is responsible for producing spiritual growth. That power belongs to God alone.

Yet Paul also makes something equally important clear: our labor in God's service matters. Those who plant and those who water are working together toward the same purpose, and God promises to reward each according to their own labor.

In this Bible teaching, we explore:

• Why Paul says neither the planter nor the waterer deserves the credit for spiritual growth.
• Why Christian workers must recognize that they are serving the same God.
• What it means that God rewards each believer according to their labor.
• Why Paul describes believers as God's field and God's building.
• How understanding our rightful place in God's work changes the way we serve Him.

The central question is not simply what we accomplish for God, but whether we recognize Who makes our work fruitful.

Whether you serve in ministry, teach God's Word, encourage others, or quietly work behind the scenes, this passage offers an important perspective on faithfulness, humility, and the source of true spiritual growth.

Why can two people hear the same biblical truth, yet one understands it while the other considers it foolishness? The Apostle Paul reveals the answer in 1 Corinthians 2:12–16.

Just as a diamond can carry an identifying inscription, Christians possess something far more significant that identifies them as belonging to God—the indwelling Holy Spirit.

But the Holy Spirit does more than identify believers. He enables them to understand God's wisdom, recognize spiritual truth, and discern what human intelligence alone cannot discover.

In this verse-by-verse Bible teaching, we examine Paul's remarkable explanation of the difference between the natural person and the spiritual person.

In this episode, you will discover:

• Why Christians receive the Holy Spirit.
• How the Holy Spirit enables believers to understand what God has freely given them.
• Why the natural person considers spiritual truths foolishness.
• What Paul means when he says the spiritual person discerns all things.
• What it really means for Christians to have the mind of Christ.
• How spiritual discernment can influence the way we think and live.

Paul concludes this passage with an extraordinary declaration:

“But we have the mind of Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 2:16

What does that mean for you today?

Does possessing the Holy Spirit mean that Christians automatically understand everything? Or is Paul describing something much deeper about how God reveals His wisdom?

Join us as we explore 1 Corinthians 2:12–16 and discover how the indwelling Holy Spirit enables believers to understand God's truth and grow in spiritual discernment.

What if the greatest minds in the world could never discover what God has already revealed to those who love Him?

In 1 Corinthians 2:6–10, the Apostle Paul reveals an extraordinary truth: God's wisdom is fundamentally different from human wisdom. It was hidden for ages, established before time began, and destined for our glory.

Yet the rulers of this age failed to recognize it. Paul declares that if they had understood God's wisdom, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory.

Drawing from the prophet Isaiah, Paul makes a remarkable declaration:

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." — 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV)

But Paul does not stop there. In verse 10, he reveals something even more extraordinary: God has revealed these things to us through His Spirit.

What human intelligence, worldly philosophy, and earthly power could never discover, God has graciously made known through His Holy Spirit.

In this verse-by-verse Bible teaching, we explore:

• What Paul means by speaking wisdom among the mature.
• Why God's wisdom is different from the wisdom of this world.
• The mystery God established before time began for our glory.
• Why the rulers of this age failed to recognize the Lord of glory.
• What Paul means when he declares that eye has not seen and ear has not heard.
• How the Holy Spirit reveals God's wisdom to those who love Him.

This passage reminds us that understanding God's purposes is not simply a matter of human intelligence or education. True spiritual understanding comes through God's gracious revelation.
