This week we go back in time with former Carlton and Hawthorn utility Simon Beaumont. Simon reminisces about his career, reflects on some of special moments during his time in the game.
A Central Dragons graduate, Simon was selected by Carlton with pick 18 in the 1993 AFL National Draft. A left-foot defender who could also play forward, Simon played 152 games in the Navy Blue, before spending the last two seasons of his AFL career with Hawthorn, playing 27 games in the brown and gold.
In this chat, Simon chats about being at the club during successful period, the list transition, his famous 8 goal haul against the Pies, the 1999 Grand Final and moving to the Hawks.
