  • Ep 145: Sorry, Not Sorry
    2025/10/28
What’s your relationship to apologizing? Is it an empowered relationship from the heart or a disempowered one from the ego? Apologizing tends to imply admitting wrongdoing, which is typically disempowering. In a society that punishes mistakes, our incentive is to avoid apologizing. As a result, less ownership, responsibility, and transparency. Furthermore, we all have personal traumas and disempowering beliefs and behaviors that impact our relationship to being apologetic and unapologetic. But how would our lives be different if we created an empowered heart-centered relationship to apologies? EPISODE SUMMARY Cultural apologizing when you’re not “wrong” to keep harmony Learning that apologies meant nothing Unapologetic puppetry Pride and ego getting in our way “I’m sorry,” admitting wrong? Apologizing from empowered ownership Feedback is crucial for our growth Openness to change ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 143: O.F.G. October
    2025/10/14
O.F.G. means opportunities for growth. Every situation we experience presents a seemingly infinite number of growth opportunities towards becoming the highest version of ourselves. However, it is up to us to train our minds to identify the opportunities and to integrate our hearts in the process. In this series of episodes, Jeff and Tatsu illustrate their thought processes when triggered by people and events in their lives. Triggered by mosquitoes Disempowered by disrespect and being unheard Being able to see the patterns Triggered by my son Taking up space and being loud and annoying Parents have their favorite child Acting annoying vs the narrative of being inherently annoying ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

There is a profound opportunity for personal transformation when you show up with more intention, devotion, reverence, and commitment. Perception towards habits vs. rituals Hesitation people have with rituals vs. habits Judgment of the people vs. the ritual itself Long-term habits becoming traditions, then rituals Working out as a ritual Reading the Bible and going to church as a ritual A ritual has to be tied to a larger commitment ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi
