  • Ep 121: Faith Part 2
    2025/04/29
When we acknowledge that there is much more that we don’t know compared to what we do know, we can understand that we are always living in faith. Faith is the unconditional belief in the unseen. For example, death is a major fear for many of us, yet on most days, we have faith that we will wake up the next day. How would our lives be different if we applied a similar level of faith to all aspects of our lives, including relationships and career? How do we strengthen faith when doubt sets in? What are some signs of weakening faith? In this episode, we emphasize the importance of empowering our relationship to faith in all areas of our lives. Getting clear when we’re losing faith Losing faith in self There’s no map or formula to develop more Faith Distinguishing lack of faith in the goal or in ourselves Time to reflect is crucial Alignment increases faith Comfortability can weaken the faith muscle Boredom and predictability ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 120: Karma
    2025/04/22

In other words, we choose moment by moment, whether consciously or unconsciously. We can choose to relate to karma in a supportive or disempowering way. This is our responsibility. How about the karma of self-judgment? How aware are we of the impact this has on all areas of our lives? Let’s dive into this! Old and new relationship to karma What you reap is what you sow Fair and unfair What we do now can affect generations after us Instant karma Getting curious with our patterns The power of reflection Are you showing up the way you want to show up? Constant course correction The karma of self-judgment How is self-judgment impacting our decisions? • Ep 119: Choose Powerfully!
    2025/04/15
We make choices every moment of every day in all areas of our lives, many on autopilot. When we question our choices, especially those we make on autopilot, we can create a life more inspiring and aligned with who we want to become. To break up the autopilot decision-making, we fundamentally need awareness of conditioned beliefs that influence our decisions. We also need courage to follow our intuition despite what others think, say, or do. The bottom line is that many people forget that they are always making a choice, even when the choice feels disempowering or when it’s to not make a choice. Knowing and practicing choosing powerfully regardless of the choice is a game-changer. I always have a choice in how I respond The courage to choose Opportunity cost There’s always a choice being made Rechoosing to keep choice empowered Ignoring intuitive change Being excited about your own life Settling for not bad Knowing when it’s time to make a different choice What are you not excited about? And of course, your mind, body, and emotions are different because you bring life circumstances into your round of golf. When closely observing a person playing golf, much about that person’s character is revealed. In this episode, we discuss lessons learned through golf that have translated to life. • Ep 117: Information Overload!
    2025/04/01
With easy access to so much information today, sky's the limit to almost anything we want to know. Concurrently, the access is often overwhelming and can be more harmful than helpful. Opinions are misunderstood as facts. Information is taken out of context. Discernment becomes shaky. Are we using information responsibly? How are we showing up when we are wrong about a topic? Our ability to think independently, practice due diligence, and stay open to other perspectives is more critical than ever. Easy access to information devalues the need to hold it in your head Now we need to know a little about a lot of things for relatability Curiosity leads to expansion of knowledge naturally Willingness to change your opinions We need to constantly be thinking for ourselves We need to be clear on how we want to use information It’s not the information itself, but what we’re making it mean ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 116: Social Media
    2025/03/25
We all have ideas about the dangers and benefits of social media. But how intentional are we being with those tools? Are we using social media or is it using us? How authentically are we showing up on those platforms? Are we using it as an automatic mental numbing tool? Regardless of how we use social media, ownership and awareness of it is key. Social media amplifies who you already are Piecing together snippets of information to understand context Distinction between using social media as a tool and it using you Self-judgment with posting content It comes down to being clear on the intention at the moment Being aware of your automatic natural comparison to others Balancing promoting business and personal boundaries on social media Clarity and commitment to engaging and adding value ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

Perhaps we’re afraid of what the truth will reveal about ourselves and others. 2025/03/11
In making decisions with multiple people involved, from negotiating a business deal to deciding what to eat for dinner, the result is often a Win/Lose or Lose/Lose. A compromise is typically a loss. How mindful are you about creating Win/Wins? And how willing are you to do so? What are your limitations for creativity and transparency? What does a Win look like for you? How about the other people involved? Considering these questions can lead to a powerful expansion of our minds and a deepening of our relationships.
