Brotherhood Forged is a Christian men's podcast created to help men live with faith, discipline, strength, and purpose.

Hosted by Joey Koontz and Paul Bengel, Brotherhood Forged is a place for honest conversations about following Christ, building biblical masculinity, developing spiritual and physical discipline, strengthening marriages, and leading families well.

This podcast is for men who know they were made for more: more faith, more responsibility, and more impact. Through Scripture, real life experience, and brotherhood, we help men forge their identity in Christ and walk out their calling together.

Brotherhood Forged is more than a podcast. It's a full community built to help men take these conversations off the screen and into real life. Alongside the show, that includes a weekly newsletter with Scripture, practical challenges, and honest reflection to keep you growing between episodes, a men's community built for real accountability and brotherhood, coaching for men working through their walk with Christ, their marriage, or their leadership, and speakers available for churches, men's groups, and events who want this message brought to their community in person.

If you're looking for a Christian podcast for men focused on growth, leadership, and faith driven living, welcome to Brotherhood Forged. Come for the podcast, stay for the brotherhood.

  • You Can't Change What You Won't Own
    2026/09/01

You may not control what happened to you, what season you’re in, or how other people choose to show up. But you still have control over what you do next.

In this episode of Brotherhood Forged, we dig into a question every man needs to be willing to ask: What part of this is mine to own?

We talk about the difference between ownership and self-blame, why accountability has to begin with yourself, and how easy it is to spend more time auditing your wife, your kids, your boss, or your circumstances than looking in the mirror.

Maybe what happened wasn’t your fault.

But what you do next is still your responsibility.

Choose one area of your life that feels frustrating right now and ask:

    1. What am I blaming?
    2. What part of this is mine to own?
    3. What can I do about it today?

Because ownership without action is just awareness.

You can’t change what you won’t own.

  • How to Be a Godly Man in a World Obsessed with Alpha Status
    2026/08/31

Brotherhood Forged is a Christian men's podcast helping men grow in faith, discipline, and leadership.

In this episode, Joey Koontz and Paul Bengel dig into what biblical manhood actually looks like once you strip away the noise. This is a conversation about men's faith, spiritual strength, and what real Christian brotherhood requires when life gets hard. Using Paul's six-part standard in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong, do everything in love, they break down where each command actually gets tested in a man's everyday life.

What "act like a man" means once you take social media out of the equation
Why Andrew Tate's version of masculinity misses the mark
    Breaking generational silence around emotions

How the algorithm learns what you'll tolerate, and how to retrain it
Standing firm through scripture memorization, not just knowing where to find it
Biblical leadership vs. control in your home
    Why passivity is not humility
Building real strength through resistance instead of comfort
Why "everything be done in love" is the guardrail for this whole verse
Why the trio is named "Sixteen Thirteen"

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (ESV and NLT)

Mentioned: Pastor Joby Martin, Bryce Crawford, and the guys' Wednesday night Bible study with Hugh, Jeff, and Richie

  • You're Not Called to Be an Alpha. You're Called to This.
    2026/08/29

Alpha male culture sells strength without love, and it almost cost me my marriage. In this video I break down 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 and why real biblical manhood was never about being feared, it was about being trusted. This is for the husband, father, and brother who is tired of performing strength and ready to actually carry it. Brotherhood Forged exists to help men do this together instead of alone. Find your brothers at bro4ged.com.
