Broadway Block - Episode 179

  • サマリー

  • It finally happened, the will to watch this version of the New York Rangers flounder helplessly has completely left my body. After what can only be described as a nightmare rollercoaster season, the Rangers have shown their true colors and flopped in the most epic of ways on Tuesday night. In arguably the worst showing of the season, the Blueshirts registered their lowest shot total since December 23rd- a moment in time that truly symbolized rockbottom. This Flames team was coming off a game where they were dominated by Toronto, and you'd expect a solid push from a group attempting to secure a playoff spot. Instead, the former President's Trophy winning squad put up one of the saddest performances in recent memory. The only one who looked engaged was Igor Shesterkin, posting a .943SV% and even mixing it up physically in attempts to spark something from his team. In hindsight, maybe it's a good thing we extended our franchise goaltender to such a lofty amount. If I were him I would also need eleven and a half million reasons to play for this team.
