If you haven't heard the news...IT'S A CRAZY SELLER'S MARKET!!!
- There's one house for every 2,000 buyers
- There's only a week of home inventory left
- New listings get 250 showings a day
- In three days, 114 Offers come in...most in cash for hundreds of thousands over asking and often including the buyer's first-born
- Sellers are laughing all the way to the bank
- Buyers are all frustrated and losing every home they want

A little exaggeration for effect? MAYBE. 

BUT, it's not far off from what the news is reporting, what friends are telling each other around the water cooler, and what agents are telling each other and putting out to their clients.

So what's the REAL real estate reality?!?
How in the world could this possibly be a good time for a buyer??
Who would have the NERVE to say this is actually a GREAT time to buy?? Maybe even dare to say that this is a BUYER'S MARKET?!?

WHO ARE "BRETT & JASON" ANYWAY?!?

Justin runs one of the largest producing real estate teams in the Kansas City region while also running a successful real estate appraisal company. 
He also has a long history as a professional musician, entrepreneur, and just generally brilliant human.

Brett is building a newer real estate company after years of mortgage banking experience as a loan officer, operations manager, and owner. He has had 34 different careers (slight exaggeration) which definitely makes him a jack of all trades and master of none. We've never seen a seller's market like this and quite frankly, it's making your head spin; whether you're an agent or a homeowner who's thinking about buying or selling in this market.

Well, never fear... Brett & Justin are here to save the day!! ...or at least run our mouths about it. 
(Disclaimer... we recorded this as our first episode on April 15th... we're getting this posted on June 7th. So much for hot takes from the front lines... BUT... we think you'll still get something out of the conversation... even if it's just a couple of eye rolls and pained sighs.)

PROBLEM:
This crazy seller's market is frustrating for EVERYONE and making many potential buyers (and their agents) want to throw up their arms and give up.

SOLUTION:

- Homes need to be priced more accurately...NOW!

- We need to move past the idea that more is more. Too many offers and bodies through the home = Chaos and lead to poor decisions.

- Agents need to educate their buyers about the realities of this market, be the leader in the search process, and understand how and when to fight in order to maximize their efforts.

- Lastly, when the rules of the game aren't working, play it a different way.
