I'm an attorney, writer, social entrepreneur, mindset coach, former elementary school teacher, wife, and mom to my beautiful baby boy Little George. I recently became a self-published children's book author. I love reading children’s books. When I taught elementary school many years ago, my favorite part of the day was reading to the kids. Now that I have my own son, I have read many more books and have been inspired to write my own. My son was not impressed with the first one I wrote, so I kept trying until he laughed aloud while I read it. So began my journey as an author.     Henry loved his Grammy but hated her cats. He did not actually hate them; he was more afraid of them. They were always all over the house, making weird noises and leaving fur everywhere. Henry's sister loved visiting Grammy, which made Henry anxious. Will he have to see those cats on this visit? One day, Henry gets left alone with the cats, turns out they were not that bad after all. He just had to overcome his fear and spend some time getting to know them.
    Grammy and Her Cats will be a welcome addition to reading time for children who find themselves afraid of strange and new things and parents, grandparents, and teachers looking for stories that give comfort and reassurance to kids about confronting their fears.
