• The Power of Choosing Life: Jack’s Story of Courage and Change
    2026/05/14

In this powerful episode of the Brave Everyday Podcast, I am joined by Jack for an honest and deeply moving conversation about mental health, transformation, ADHD, fatherhood, fitness, resilience and finding purpose after rock bottom.

Jack shares how he reached one of the lowest points of his life, struggling with severe depression, suicidal thoughts, homelessness, weight gain and feeling completely lost. At his heaviest, Jack reached 33 and a half stone and believed his life was heading in one direction.

    But one call changed everything.

Jack opens up about the support that helped save his life, the mindset shift that followed, and how he went on to lose a life-changing amount of weight, step into boxing, become an ambassador, inspire others and rebuild himself from the inside out.

This conversation explores the reality of ADHD, being labelled as a “naughty kid”, the power of kindness, the love of being a parent, body image, setting goals, and why doing the uncomfortable things can be the very thing that changes your life.

Jack’s story is raw, honest, emotional and inspiring. A reminder that your past may shape you, but it does not have to define your future.

Courage isn’t the absence of fear, it is action despite it.
