  • Stewarding Intuition: Finding Clarity and Connection through the Akashic Field with Karen LaCamera
    2026/08/18
In this episode of Blue Hour, Adina welcomes Karen LaCamera back to the podcast to explore the evolution of her creative and intuitive work since their first conversation in April 2024.Karen began her career as a graphic designer, but her work has expanded into a fascinating intersection of creativity, intuition, energy, mandala-making, and Akashic Records. Her newest creation, the Akashic Messages Clarity Deck, brings these different practices together in a tool designed not to tell you what to think or what to do, but to help you reconnect with what you already know.Karen shares how creating mandalas began as a form of self-care and meditation—a way to quiet an overactive mind by engaging the hands in a creative process. Over time, this practice evolved into personalized mandalas inspired by chakras and individual energy. She also takes us behind the scenes of creating her 71-card Clarity Deck, including the six card categories: Frequency, Vibration, Themes, Guides, Actions, and Tools. Rather than functioning as traditional divination, the deck is designed to support discernment, reflection, and intuitive guidance.During the conversation, Adina receives an impromptu reading. The cards invite a movement from reflection toward action, sparking a deeper conversation about what happens when we stop searching for more answers and begin listening to what is already asking to be integrated within us.The conversation also explores the idea of integrating shadow and light—bringing insight into action, past into present, and uncomfortable emotions into greater wholeness. With eclipse season as a backdrop, Adina, Karen, and Roberta reflect on the value of sitting with uncertainty and resistance rather than immediately trying to transcend or solve it.Sometimes clarity doesn't come from asking another question.Sometimes it comes from becoming quiet enough to hear the answer that is already within you.In this episode, we explore:Karen's evolution from graphic designer to intuitive creativeThe meditative and healing qualities of mandala-makingCreating personalized mandalas based on chakras and individual energyKaren's journey into working with the Akashic RecordsThe inspiration behind the Akashic Messages Clarity DeckThe 71-card deck and its six categories: Frequency, Vibration, Themes, Guides, Actions, and ToolsHow intuitive card readings can support discernment rather than provide definitive answersThe difference between seeking external answers and trusting your own inner knowingAn impromptu reading for Adina around home, displacement, and finding clarityThe role of reflection and action in navigating uncertaintyIntegrating shadow and lightWhy uncomfortable emotions may contain valuable informationEclipse season as an invitation to explore what is beneath the surfaceThe importance of presence when accessing intuitive guidanceKaren's Clarity Collection, including the journal and coloring bookThe idea of becoming a steward rather than an owner of an intuitive toolFollowing intuitive flow rather than over-planningLearning to trust your own discernment and inner wisdomA question to take with you:What do I need to know right now?Rather than asking for a specific answer, allow this question to open a space for whatever wants to emerge.Karen LaCamera is a creative intuitive, graphic designer, author, and founder of Align by Design. With more than 25 years of experience in design and over six years of working in the Akashic Records, she combines creativity and intuitive insight to create tools that help people gain clarity and reconnect with their own inner wisdom. As the creator of the Akashic Messages Clarity Deck, Karen designed the deck to serve as a companion to the Akashic Records. The Clarity Deck encourages people to strengthen their discernment, trust their intuition, and discover their own answers rather than relying solely on someone else’s. She is also an Akashic Records reader, teacher, Reiki Master, published author, and creator of mandalas, journals, and other intuitive resources that bridge art, spirit, and personal growth.align-bydesign.comAlignbyDesignCreativealignbydesigncreativeSupport the showIf you enjoyed this episode, please share it.
