A few months ago I was terrified of being on camera.

I kept asking myself what people would think. What if I stumbled over my words? What if nobody watched? And then I pressed record anyway. That was my bold move. And today we are talking about yours.

Courage is not a feeling. It is a decision. And the most powerful thing I know about bold moves is this — you will never feel ready. The feeling of readiness is the lie fear tells you to keep you exactly where you are.

    In this episode:
→ The bold move that changed the trajectory of my life — and what it cost me
→ Why starting this podcast at 250 downloads proved the fear wrong
→ What bold move I am in the middle of RIGHT NOW — before I know how it ends
→ What you model matters more than what you say — especially to the people watching you

This week's affirmation: "The bold move is not the absence of fear. It's the decision that my purpose is bigger than my fear. I step forward anyway — and God meets me there."

    Scripture: Joshua 1:9

Journal prompt: What is the bold move you have been circling that you keep talking yourself out of — and what would you do if you truly believed God was going to meet you there?

  • Healing Out Loud-The Messy Nobody Talks About
    2026/07/21

    Send us Fan Mail

Nobody talks about the Tuesday in the middle of your healing.

Not the breakthrough moment. Not the testimony everyone shares at church. The random Tuesday where you thought you were past something — and it showed back up. In your body. In your reaction. In a conversation you did not expect.

That is where we are starting today. Because the messy middle of becoming is the part we skip over, and I am done skipping it.

    In this episode:
→ What healing actually looks like on a random Wednesday — not the Instagram version
→ The season I went "backward" and what God was actually doing in it
→ What it has cost me to heal out loud on this podcast — and what it has given me
→ Why your mess really is your message — even when it still hurts

This week's affirmation: "I am not behind. I am not broken. I am in the middle of something God is working through me — and the messy middle is still holy ground."

    Scripture: Romans 8:28

Journal prompt: What season of healing are you in right now that you haven't given yourself permission to name out loud?

  • Raising Me While You Were Still Becoming
    2026/07/14

    Send us Fan Mail

I have been talking about my son on this podcast since the very first episode. Today — he is finally here.

This is the first episode of our Mother and Son series, and I have to be honest with you: I was not ready for what he said. We talked about what it is like to be an only child, what he understands about mental health, what it feels like to be a young Black boy in this world right now — and what he wants people to know about him before they make up their minds about who he is.

And then I said something to him on camera that I have never said out loud quite like that before. You are going to want to see it.

    In this episode:
→ The real pros and cons of being an only child — from him, not me
→ What he thinks mental health means and what he would do if a friend was struggling
→ What it feels like to be a young Black boy right now
→ A mother's word — spoken directly to him, on camera

This week's affirmation: "My story — including the parts I'm still writing — has the power to shape the generation behind me. I will not stay silent."

    Scripture: Proverbs 22:6

Journal prompt: What is one thing you want the young people in your life to see in how you live — not just what you tell them, but how you actually show up?

  • Not Made Alone
    2026/07/07

There is a version of strength that looks like doing everything alone — and I spent years calling it independence. Today we are talking about what that isolation really costs, and why God never designed you to carry all of it by yourself.

This is also our first VIDEO episode — and if you've been following along since February, you know how big this moment is. You can now see my face when I say: you are not meant to do this alone.

    In this episode:
→ The season I tried to carry everything and what it broke in me
→ The difference between protecting your peace and hiding behind walls
→ What real, God-sent community actually requires of you
→ Why vulnerability comes before trust — not after

This week's affirmation: "I release the need to carry everything alone. God placed people in my life to walk with me — and I am open to giving and receiving real community."

    Scripture: Ecclesiastes 4:9–10

Journal prompt: Where have you been isolating yourself and calling it independence? What would it cost you to let someone in?

  • Stop Waiting for Permission to Step into More
    2026/06/23

    Send us Fan Mail

You have been waiting for someone to tell you that you're ready.

Waiting for more time. More money. More confidence. More credentials. Waiting until circumstances align perfectly before you take the step that has been sitting on your heart for months — maybe years.

But what if the door is already open and you just haven't walked through it yet?

In this season-closing episode, Key Glover delivers a faith-forward declaration for every woman who has been playing small, waiting for permission, or letting fear disguise itself as wisdom.

We're talking about what it means to step into your "more" — not someday, not when everything is perfect, but right now — in faith, with what you have, from where you are.

This episode includes an activating breathwork practice, the Week 4 affirmation spoken aloud as a declaration, and a conversation anchored in Psalm 138:8.

The door has your name on it. It is time to walk through it.

    📓 This week's journal prompts:
    · Where have you been playing small because fear told you it wasn't your time?
    · Write a letter to the version of yourself that exists 6 months from now.

  • The Guilt of slowing Down (and Why it’s a Lie)
    2026/06/17

    Send us Fan Mail

You sat down for ten minutes and immediately felt guilty about it.

    Sound familiar?

We have been so conditioned to tie our worth to our output — to how much we produce, how much we give, how hard we grind — that rest has started to feel like failure. Like laziness. Like falling behind.

But in this episode, Key Glover is calling that feeling exactly what it is: a lie.

We're talking about where the guilt of slowing down really comes from, why it has such a grip on so many women — especially Black women, mothers, and entrepreneurs — and what God actually says about rest. Spoiler alert: it doesn't sound like "grind harder."

This episode includes the most restorative breathwork practice of the series, the Week 3 affirmation spoken aloud, and an honest conversation anchored in Matthew 11:28.

You are allowed to stop. You are allowed to breathe. And you are allowed to just be.

    📓 This week's journal prompts:
    · Where in your life are you running on empty right now?
    · What does rest actually look like for YOU?

  • What Healing Actually looks like when Nobody’s Watching— Edit
    2026/06/09

    Send us Fan Mail

Nobody posts the 2am crying. Nobody posts the therapy session where you finally said the thing out loud. Nobody posts the quiet Tuesday morning when something in you just... shifted.

But that is what healing actually looks like.

In this episode, Key Glover pulls back the curtain on the version of healing that never makes the highlight reel — the kind that happens in private, in the in-between, when no one is watching and no one is clapping.

We're talking about what it really means to be renewed — honoring how far you've come, grieving the versions of yourself you had to leave behind, and recognizing the quiet miracles of growth that happen when you're not even paying attention.

This episode includes a releasing breathwork practice, the Week 2 affirmation spoken aloud, and an honest conversation anchored in 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Because the healing you do in private? That is the most powerful kind.

    📓 This week's journal prompts:
    · What has healed in you quietly that you haven't given yourself credit for?
    · What is God calling you to release right now?

  • Stop Letting the wrong voices define you
    2026/06/03

    Send us Fan Mail

Have you ever realized you've been living your life according to someone else's opinion of you?

The voice that told you that you were too much. The one that said you weren't enough. The one that made you shrink, second-guess, and play small — for years.

In this episode, Key Glover gets real about the voices that try to write our story for us — the ones from our past, from family, from relationships, and the ones we've internalized so deeply we've started calling them our own thoughts.

We're talking about what it means to be rooted — deeply, unshakeably rooted in who God says you are — so that nothing outside of you has the power to define you anymore.

This episode includes a grounding breathwork practice, the Week 1 affirmation spoken aloud, and talking points anchored in Psalm 1:3.

If you've been carrying a narrative that was never yours to begin with — it's time to put it down.

    📓 This week's journal prompts:
    · What belief about yourself doesn't actually belong to you?
    · Who are you when no one is watching?
