God just wants to be with us.
It's our sin that prevents us from that. We can't sacrifice enough to even come close to his holiness. Thankful that Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice.
Today's meditation is the last of our series on Hosea 6 series.
I hope you've found it encouraging and convicting and that God has used his Word to draw you closer to himself. While designed to be practiced sequentially and as a series so you can get the full context of the passage, I'd highly recommend coming back to any verse that the Holy Spirit is calling you to and repeating it over and over again until God's Word gets into every nook and cranny of your soul. Each meditation is structured like this: - 10 rounds of 3x6 breathing - Verse of the day repeated 7x - 10 minutes of silence

Scripture for Today’s Meditation
Hosea 6:1-6
1| Come, let us return to the Lord;for he has torn us, that he may heal us;he has struck us down, and he will bind us up
.2| After two days he will revive us;on the third day he will raise us up,that we may live before him.
3| Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord;his going out is sure as the dawn;he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.”
4| What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah?Your love is like a morning cloud, like the dew that goes early away.
5| Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets;I have slain them by the words of my mouth, and my judgment goes forth as the light
.6| For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
