  • The Branch That Withers | John 15:6 | Day 6 of 27 | Daily Christian Meditation
    2026/05/04

There is a seriousness in Jesus's words that deserves attention. Not explained away. To drift from the vine isn't merely unproductive — it's being cut off from the source of life itself. Let this verse do its work in the silence.

This is Day 6 of 27 in our meditation through John 15. Each episode builds on the one before — I'd recommend going in order, but let the Spirit lead you back whenever you feel called.

Each meditation follows the same format:

    • A brief breathing exercise (10 rounds of 3-count inhale, 6-count exhale)
    • Today's verse read slowly, seven times
    • Ten minutes of contemplative silence with music

    📖 Verse (ESV)

John 15:6 — If anyone does not abide in me, he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.

  • Apart from Me, Nothing | John 15:5 | Day 5 of 27 | Daily Christian Meditation
    2026/05/03

This is not a threat but a description of reality. Apart from the vine, the branch has no life of its own — it only looks alive. Jesus names what is true so we can stop pretending otherwise.

This is Day 5 of 27 in our meditation through John 15. Each episode builds on the one before — I'd recommend going in order, but let the Spirit lead you back whenever you feel called.

Each meditation follows the same format:

John 15:5 — I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

  • Abide in Me | John 15:4 | Day 4 of 27 | Daily Christian Meditation

To abide is not to strive — it is to remain. Jesus invites us here not into effort but into presence, into a stillness that holds us more than we hold it.

This is Day 4 of 27 in our meditation through John 15. Each episode builds on the one before — I'd recommend going in order, but let the Spirit lead you back whenever you feel called.

    📖 Verse (ESV)

John 15:4 — Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.

  • Pruned to Bear More Fruit | John 15:2 | Day 2 of 27 | Daily Christian Meditation
    2026/04/29

Pruning is not punishment . It's the Father's attention. What feels like loss is often the very thing that makes room for more. This verse asks us to trust the hand that cuts.

  • I Am the True Vine | John 15:1 | Day 1 of 27 | Daily Christian Meditation
    2026/04/28

Jesus does not say he is a vine — he says he is the true one. The claim is not that he is useful, but that everything else is imitation. This is where the chapter begins, and it is enough to sit with for a lifetime.

  • Hosea 6 | Day 6 | Finish | Christian meditation on God's love
    2026/04/27

God just wants to be with us.

It's our sin that prevents us from that. We can't sacrifice enough to even come close to his holiness. Thankful that Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice.

Today's meditation is the last of our series on Hosea 6 series.

I hope you've found it encouraging and convicting and that God has used his Word to draw you closer to himself. While designed to be practiced sequentially and as a series so you can get the full context of the passage, I'd highly recommend coming back to any verse that the Holy Spirit is calling you to and repeating it over and over again until God's Word gets into every nook and cranny of your soul. Each meditation is structured like this: - 10 rounds of 3x6 breathing - Verse of the day repeated 7x - 10 minutes of silence

    Music by: @DayandNightInstrumentals

    Narration by: @rhythmsonyoutube

    Scripture for Today’s Meditation

    Hosea 6:1-6

1| Come, let us return to the Lord;for he has torn us, that he may heal us;he has struck us down, and he will bind us up

.2| After two days he will revive us;on the third day he will raise us up,that we may live before him.

3| Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord;his going out is sure as the dawn;he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.”

4| What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah?Your love is like a morning cloud, like the dew that goes early away.

5| Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets;I have slain them by the words of my mouth, and my judgment goes forth as the light

.6| For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

  • Hosea 6 | Day 5 | Christian meditation on God's judgment
    2026/04/26

God sends the prophets to Israel to meet his justice. His justice brings light to our darkness and in it we are found utterly guilty. Thankful Jesus intercedes on our behalf and we are saved by God's lavish grace.Today's meditation is Day 5 of 6 in our series on Hosea 6 This meditation series is designed for a daily practice and I'd highly recommend going in order to grasp the context of the passage. That said, let the Holy Spirit guide you and return to this verse as many times as you feel led.
