このコンテンツについて
Veteran engineer Jake Richardson is at the helm of Train 407, the Colossus Express, a mile-long passenger and freight train barreling through the Rocky Mountain Pass. What begins as a routine trip from Denver to Salt Lake City turns into a nightmare when Jake realizes the brakes have failed, and the train is accelerating uncontrollably down a steep descent. With Dead Man’s Curve ahead—a perilous bend that could send the train plummeting off the mountain—time is running out.
As the train surges past 90 mph, Jake and his fireman Luis Ramirez work frantically to slow it down. Meanwhile, conductors Melanie Brooks and Darren Wells struggle to keep the terrified passengers calm. Jake hatches a desperate plan—detaching freight cars to reduce weight and slow the train. Luis braves the speeding cars to decouple sections, but it’s not enough. Their last hope: coupling with a work train on a siding ahead to leverage its brakes.
In a heart-pounding final moment, Jake executes the near-impossible maneuver, and the combined braking force barely saves them from catastrophe. The train survives the deadly curve—just barely. Exhausted but alive, the crew emerges victorious, having averted disaster against impossible odds.
