While we are all winding our weary way through our own versions of lockdown, we are still dealing with stuff - our own stuff, someone else stuff (do you get the feeling the word stuff is replacing another more apt. word!!! Well that's cos it is...

We deal with not only our own stuff, but sometimes get dragged into other people's stuff! I tried to avoid that this week as we wind our way towards Amber's delivery day of Monday!! Eeeek people - I have to keep myself safe and well, so that I can be of use to the entire family when they need me...

Keeping it all real and current with the weeks happenings etc. just for y'all...

We are here again for the final instalment of this 2 part series where Amber chats honestly and openly about her second pregnancy thoughts about infant sleep, breastfeeding as well as those tricky early days and weeks. 

I have loved spending this time with my girl and with only 7 days to go until she is due, we are totally excited to welcome baby number 2 to our family.  When asked this morning if baby was cooked in mummy's oven belly yet, Penny dutifully replied "not yet mummy, just a little bit longer!" Bless.... she knows you know.... haha!

I look forward to your feedback and indeed if you have any well wishes for Amber as she winds her way toward labour.

This week - with only 30 minutes left on my podcast plan - Eeeek!! I thought I would choose to dedicate the entire episode to introducing and talking to lovely daughter.  

*Firstly - apologies for the reduced sound when Amber is talking on the podcast - I couldn't get her close enough to the mic stand - I blame it on the belly-reaching capacity! Lol. 

I have been promising to do this for weeks now and we are soooo close to her baby being born now, that I had to get her on asap! 

We discuss how pregnancy was for her first time round and how it differed from this pregnancy, as well as talking to her about breastfeeding anxieties. She talks candidly about how it was for her starting out as a new mother as well as life's ups and downs that came too.
