  • Discerning Depression Part 3: Alternative Modalities & Soul + Spiritual-Level Healing Philosophies
    2023/03/13

In this episode, we continue our Mental Health series by talking about EMDR and why it's working for people. We dive deep into the neurology and science behind what we do and how we can help people heal through trauma with these practices.

The second part of this episode is in regards to addressing the "elephant" in the room--deeper levels of healing that today's society lacks in practice. Part 1 and 2 talked a lot of science in regards to thoughts, toxins, and traumas on a body-perspective of healing, but Part 3 dives into the mind/soul and spiritual levels of healing.

Part 3 features both Yogi and Taoist philosophies of health and how the body works. Dr. Brad begins bridging the gap between Eastern and Western philosophies of thought and Part 4 will talk about the Truth of the Bible and how it relates to healing.

  • Engaging the World with KeJuan Robinson
    2023/02/25

KeJuan is the Connections Director at Grace City Church in Charleston, SC and a dear friend and brother. During our "Engage" series, I wanted to feature him on this podcast to speak into spaces of engaging the marginalized, the vulnerable, and what it means to pursue Biblical Justice.

I had the pleasure of not just interviewing KeJuan, but having the opportunity to press into some difficult topics that we both believe are critical for healing our world--not because of anything that society or politics says, but because of what the Word of God says.

If we want to take steps into Biblical Justice, we must have hearts like God's heart and value what God values.

According to the World Health Organization and Food Drug Administration, Depression is the #1 leading cause (by far) of disability in the United States in ages 15-44.

In the United States alone in 2022, over 40,000 suicides were logged and statistics from the CDC express over 1.2 million suicide attempts.

Anti-Depressants/Psychotics are in the top 5 prescription medications (sharing with 3 cardiovascular-related medications and NSAIDs standing-in for pain medications grouped).

Dr. Brad dives into these issues, as well as solutions to these issues. We divided this podcast into a series of 4 shows in order to cover the wide range and depth of mental illness.

    2022/12/29

It took over a year to begin this podcast--and my roadblock? Myself. I let the enemy instill fear and insecurity in my heart. Today, we'll explore how I navigated that, what it took to bring this idea to life, and how you can rise above insecurities in your own life and awaken the potential with you!

Special thanks to my wife, Annie, for encouraging me and being the driving influence for this message.

  • Imagery in Revelation
    2022/12/23

Dr. Brad dives into what he's learned in the last year about the Book of Revelation. The goal is to discover how to read the book in a way that God wants us to rather than running wild with improper interpretations of this book. Dr. Brad uses 2 examples to explain the importance of imagery in Revelation and why it's vastly different than most books of this Bible.

Today's episode is a quick demo before our launch, by which we felt called to publish as a means to help those navigate confusion within the Bible's Apocalyptic literature.
