From flattened perspective to everyday scenes, ukiyo-e wasn’t just decorative—it was revolutionary. We’ll unpack the rise of Japonisme, its deep (and sometimes uneasy) influence on Impressionism, and how one iconic wave helped turn the tide of art history.
