Armor & Altar — Sufficient in Him. We put on God’s Armor daily, standing firm in faith as we share the Gospel with boldness and love. We live at His Altar in humility, surrendering to His will and serving wherever He leads. Our mission is simple: honor Christ, reach all people, and reflect His truth without limits. We follow Jesus, serve with purpose, and trust Him to guide every step of this ministry.Jason Caldwell キリスト教 スピリチュアリティ 聖職・福音主義

In Matthew 6:19–24, Jesus confronts the danger of materialism and divided loyalty. He warns us not to store up earthly treasures that fade, break, or disappear, but to pursue heavenly treasure that lasts forever. Our treasure reveals our heart, and our eyes determine whether we walk in light or darkness. A clear, single focus on Christ fills the whole life with light. But a wandering eye leads to spiritual confusion. Jesus ends with a decisive truth: no one can serve two masters. We will either serve God or the world, but never both. This passage calls us to examine our hearts and choose our true Master.

Our nation was built on religious freedom, but we must honestly confront how, at times, followers of Christ have enabled religious persecution through both belief and behavior. In this episode we examine that tension, explore how it shows up in personal and public life, and discuss practical steps toward repentance, reconciliation, and a more faithful witness.

Jesus teaches that fasting is not optional but expected for His followers. In Matthew 6:16–18, He warns against the hypocrisy of the Pharisees, who used fasting as a public performance to gain praise. True fasting is private, humble, and focused on God. The Old Testament required fasting only in sacred moments, and the early church relied on it during persecution for strength and guidance. Fasting helps us surrender distractions, seek clarity, and draw closer to the Lord. Ask God if He’s calling you into a season of fasting and trust Him to meet you there.
