Arizona State’s women’s basketball team is set for an electrifying 2026-27 Big 12 season, with a tough but promising schedule that includes a home-heavy slate against top conference foes and a high-stakes rivalry finale against Arizona. Coach Molly Miller’s squad, which went 9-9 in conference play last year despite a strong 24-11 overall record, will open against Utah — a team they beat twice but still made the NCAA tournament. ASU’s home court, Desert Financial Arena, was a fortress last season (15-2), and they’ll host four of the top five teams from last year’s Big 12, giving them a major edge. The season’s crescendo? A Feb. 27 showdown in Tucson against arch-rivals Arizona — a game ASU won in the Big 12 Tournament last time out. Can Miller’s team turn their road struggles into wins and climb the Big 12 ladder? All eyes are on Sun Devil basketball.

Arizona State’s men’s basketball team, led by new head coach Randy Bennett, has unveiled a revamped Big 12 schedule designed to build momentum early. After struggling 2-9 on the road last season, ASU gets key home matchups against Houston and BYU while tackling tough away games like Texas Tech and Arizona early in the year. With Bennett’s proven ability to win on the road and a chance for revenge against teams like Kansas State and Baylor, the Sun Devils aim to capitalize on critical late-January/early-February games — including showdowns with Kansas, Arizona, and Iowa State — to climb the standings and prove they’re ready to compete in one of college basketball’s toughest conferences.
