  • サマリー

  • Josie Hoffman is an interdisciplinary artist driven by movement, the constant element of expression in their art practice. This movement flows through different formats, including 2D and 3D visual art, body movement, and performance. Depending on what the artwork calls for, sometimes natural materials, recycled materials, dance, digital media, or aerial arts, they incorporate reflections of land, water, and identity. Josie is a Grand Portage Ojibwe Direct Descendent with mixed European ancestry. She resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a program coordinator for the Native Youth Arts Collective in Minneapolis at Little Earth. She practices and teaches aerial arts at multiple studios in the Twin Cities. Josephine holds a BFA in Fine Arts Studio and a Teaching Artist Minor from Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
