    The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix recently announced an exciting new initiative in partnership with Delta Dental Arizona. The collaboration will increase oral health education for all of the College's medical students and impact patient care in the years ahead. Delta Dental and the College describe their partnership as an innovative approach to medical education that encourages interprofessional communication.

    Listen to an in-depth conversation with the creator and directors of Arizona's first perinatal psychiatry access line.

    Co-directed by Saira Kalia, MD, and Kathryn Emerick, MD, of the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson, the Arizona Perinatal Psychiatry Access Line (APAL) is a free phone service that provides Arizona physicians assistance caring for pregnant or prenatal patients dealing with a mental health crisis or substance use disorder.
