  • Dante Terese | Ep. 8 Part 2
    2026/10/15

In Part 2 of my conversation with Dante Terese, we're talking animal cloning, digital surveillance, spy novels, music, and the unexpected ways technology influences our lives.

Would you clone a beloved pet? Is your phone listening to your conversations, or are social media algorithms simply getting better at predicting what you want? We explore these questions before stepping into Dante's creative world, including her The Base spy-novel series and her song “Is Someone Loving You,” a unique blend described as pop rock with a side order of country.

We also discuss the music video filmed at Copper Mane Show Horses, a horse sanctuary dedicated to helping horses in need. Then we wrap things up with Quickfire Questions covering spies, books, movies, and more.

Follow Dante Terese through her website for updates on her books, music, and videos, and check out Copper Mane Show Horses to learn more about the sanctuary.

  • Dante Terese | Ep. 8 Part 1
    2026/10/08

Dante is the author of The Base series, a military and spy epic set in 1976, a time before smartphones, GPS, and personal devices made it easy to track someone’s every move. Her stories explore a world of espionage and intrigue, where staying hidden meant relying on skill, strategy, and good old-fashioned secrecy.

Dante’s goal is to eventually see The Base brought to life on the big screen or picked up as a streaming series.

But writing isn’t her only creative pursuit. Dante also writes, sings, and produces her own music, including the song “Is Someone Loving You.”

We also talk about the horse farm featured in the music video. The farm is actually a horse rescue, and Dante wanted to use this episode as an opportunity to help shine a light on their work.

  • Story Time: Real Stories. No Filter | Ep. 6
    2026/09/24

Some of the best stories in life start with, “You’re not going to believe what happened…”

Welcome to Story Time on Anyway, I’m Daniel.

In this episode, I’m digging into some of the ridiculous, frustrating, and downright memorable moments I’ve experienced over the years.

We start with life as a football parent, including the chaos of an away game and the payoff of finding out whether all that running around was worth it.

Then things take a turn at Taco Bell, where a simple family dinner somehow becomes a story worth remembering.

From there, we get into a bizarre McDonald’s encounter involving my brother, because apparently fast food and my family don't mix very well.

    And that's just the beginning.

I also reflect on some of my past work experiences, including my time as a valet parker at a casino, and how those experiences have shaped the way I look at life now.

These aren't huge life-changing events. They're the weird, funny, frustrating moments that stick with you—and sometimes become the best stories to tell.

  • Does Reality Exist When Nobody's Looking? | Anyway, I'm Daniel Ep. 4
    2026/09/11

Does reality exist when nobody's looking?

If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is around, does it make a sound? What sounds like a simple philosophical question gets a whole lot stranger when you start exploring quantum theory.

In Episode 4 of Anyway, I'm Daniel, I dive into the weird world of quantum physics and some of the ideas that challenge how we understand reality.

We talk about the double-slit experiment, Schrödinger's cat, quantum entanglement, and string theory—and how these concepts raise some seriously strange questions about observation, probability, particles, and the nature of reality itself.

Does observing something change what happens?
Can something exist in multiple possible states?
How can two particles remain connected across enormous distances?
And what exactly are the fundamental building blocks of our universe?

I'm not a physicist, so this isn't a lecture. It's me trying to wrap my head around some of the strangest ideas in science and asking:

What if reality is much stranger than the reality we experience every day?

Come down the rabbit hole with me.

    Anyway, I'm Daniel.

  • What If Ancient "gods" were modern "aliens" | Anyway, I'm Daniel Ep. 3
    2026/09/05

What if "God" and "alien" aren't necessarily two different things?

In this episode of Anyway, I'm Daniel, we explore aliens, UFOs, ancient mythology, and the possibility that humanity may simply use different words to describe beings we don't fully understand.

What would an extraterrestrial visitor have been called thousands of years ago, before words like alien, extraterrestrial, or advanced civilization existed?

A god? A deity? An angel? A being from the heavens?

We dive into Greek, Roman, and Norse mythology, as well as the mysterious passage in Genesis 6 about the "sons of God" and the daughters of man.

This isn't about proving that ancient gods were aliens. It's about asking whether "god" and "alien" could both be accurate descriptions from different perspectives—and whether our modern understanding of these terms limits how we interpret the stories of the past.

It's a conversation about language, belief, history, and one very big question:

If something from another world visited humanity thousands of years ago, what would we have called it?

    Anyway, I'm Daniel. 👽

  • What Happens When Nobody Has to Work? | Anyway, I'm Daniel Ep. 2
    2026/09/04

What happens when AI, robotics, and automation make it possible for humans to work less—or potentially not work at all?

In this episode of Anyway, I'm Daniel, I talk about where we are as a society, how we've reacted to technology in the past, and where I think automation could potentially take us.

We were scared of computers. We were skeptical of the internet. We thought cell phones were going too far.

Now most of us can't imagine life without them.

So what happens when the next wave of technology—robotics, automation, and AI agents—starts doing more and more of the work we've always done?

Are we going to fight it?

Or are we going to learn how to move with it?

And there's a bigger question underneath all of it: If you didn't have to work a job just to pay your bills, what would you actually do with your life?

    Maybe you love painting.

    Maybe you'd build things.

    Maybe you'd travel.

Maybe you'd spend more time with your family.

Hell... maybe you genuinely enjoy mopping floors.

But if mopping floors doesn't pay enough to support you, you can't exactly pursue it as a passion today.

What if a future of automation and abundance changed that?

What if technology didn't just take work away—but gave us the freedom to decide what we actually want to spend our limited time doing?

    I don't have the answers.

I'm just curious about where all of this is going—and whether humanity is going to embrace the future, fight it, or somehow do both at the same time.

    What do you think?

Would you still work if you didn't have to?

What would you spend your time doing?

And do you think AI and automation are going to make our lives better... or make things worse?

I'd genuinely like to hear your take.

    Anyway, I'm Daniel.
