What if "God" and "alien" aren't necessarily two different things?
In this episode of Anyway, I'm Daniel, we explore aliens, UFOs, ancient mythology, and the possibility that humanity may simply use different words to describe beings we don't fully understand.
What would an extraterrestrial visitor have been called thousands of years ago, before words like alien, extraterrestrial, or advanced civilization existed?
A god? A deity? An angel? A being from the heavens?
We dive into Greek, Roman, and Norse mythology, as well as the mysterious passage in Genesis 6 about the "sons of God" and the daughters of man.
This isn't about proving that ancient gods were aliens. It's about asking whether "god" and "alien" could both be accurate descriptions from different perspectives—and whether our modern understanding of these terms limits how we interpret the stories of the past.
It's a conversation about language, belief, history, and one very big question:
If something from another world visited humanity thousands of years ago, what would we have called it?
Anyway, I'm Daniel. 👽
