Today I am rejoined by Hollie Wildëthorn to talk about another goddess aka Freyja. Freyja, a captivating Norse goddess, is renowned for her beauty, love, and fertility. As a member of the Vanir, she embodies both strength and sensuality, often riding a chariot drawn by majestic cats. Freyja's grace and influence extend over various realms, including war and magic, making her a multifaceted and revered figure in Norse mythology. EP 33 - Inanna
    2024/02/08
Today Hollie Wildëthorn and I shared a conversation about Inanna. Inanna, a prominent deity in ancient Mesopotamian mythology, is a multifaceted goddess associated with love, fertility, war, and wisdom. Revered by the Sumerians, Inanna is often depicted as a powerful and enigmatic figure, symbolizing the dynamic forces of life and the cosmos. Her myths, particularly the Descent to the Underworld, highlight themes of transformation, resilience, and the cyclical nature of existence. As the Queen of Heaven, Inanna played a central role in Mesopotamian religious beliefs and rituals.
