    Set sail on our voyage to discover the man who is considered the "first mover" of the Virginia Colony -- Bartholomew Gosnold.

    You know Capt. John Smith, Pocahontas, and John Rolfe, but you wouldn’t know those names if there hadn’t been Bartholomew Gosnold.

    In this episode we begin our voyage from past to present with the man who planned the voyage, found the investors, and recruited the first settlers for the adventure to found the colony of Virginia at Jamestown.

    We set the stage in the English Renaissance, meet Bartholomew Gosnold, and sail to Virginia.
