Are you craving more time for yourself and your family but ending each day so mentally exhausted you feel like you have nothing left to give? Do you feel like you don’t have the energy to keep up with it all—work, laundry, kids’ activities, appointments? Let’s not forget about the daily dreaded question, what’s for dinner?

On the outside it looks like you have it altogether but on the inside, you’re craving more fulfillment.

What if you could finally slow down and pour back into yourself?

Hieeyy, I’m Josie. A wife, a mom of three, and a soul seeker at heart. Several years ago, I found myself burnt out, unfulfilled, and mentally exhausted every… single… day.

I was climbing the corporate ladder, chasing more money—while giving nothing back to myself. By the time I got home, my time and energy were depleted… and anxiety had taken over. You know that feeling—snapping at your kids without meaning to? My days weren’t filled with fulfillment… just never-ending to-do lists. I wasn’t living my day—I was surviving it.

I realized I had to stop blaming my job for my burnout. If I wanted more time, more freedom, more purpose—I had to look inward. Because what was really draining me… was my own patterns—perfectionism, people-pleasing, and not setting boundaries.

If you’re a high-achieving mom who looks like she has it all together—but inside you’re saying, “there’s never enough time, energy, or support”…

And you’re ready to stop running on empty and start living with more intention…

You’re in the right place.

This podcast is your permission to slow down, to look inward, and to explore yourself in a deeper, more honest way. To step outside the pressure, the expectations, and the constant doing—and reconnect with who you truly are.

Through simple mindset shifts and soulful conversations, you’ll begin to release the patterns that keep you overworked and overwhelmed. You’ll quiet the mental noise, soften the pressure, and create space to come back home to yourself… your divine self.

Imagine…

More peace..
More purpose.
More space to breathe.

If you’re ready to create more time in your day—and actually feel fulfilled living it—there’s a reason you’re here Super Mama!

So grab your journal, hide in the car for peace, and let the journey to self-discovery begin.

I would love to connect with you more!

  • 17 | Why Chaos Is Actually Perception - The #1 Way I Created More Peace With Mindfulness
    2026/09/01

Have you ever wondered if you could actually change how a moment feels — without changing a single thing about the situation itself?

Do you catch yourself pushing through, ignoring what your body is telling you, just to keep striving?

    Highlights of This Episode:

In this episode, I'm giving you a real example of something we talk about a lot on this show: mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and how much power you actually have over your own emotional regulation — even when the situation around you doesn't change.

I walk you through the finger exercise — a simple, in-the-moment demonstration of how our perception shapes what we believe is "true." One finger. Two fingers. And then the truth. It's the same idea behind Story A, Story B, and the truth of what's actually happening in your life.

From there, we get into how our bodies respond to the energy around us — expanding around people and moments that feel good, contracting around the ones that don't — and why so many of us were taught to ignore that signal instead of using it. I bring it home with a real mom-life example: the morning struggle of waking up my daughter, and how shifting my own energy before I even say a word changes the entire tone of our morning.

This episode is about boundaries with your own nervous system — the boundary of choosing your response instead of reacting on autopilot. It's for the mom who wants to stop pushing through her mornings on autopilot and start noticing she has a choice, in the moment, every time.

    Journal Prompts:
    • Where in your day do you feel your body contract before your mind even catches up? What would it look like to bring a different energy into that exact moment?
    • Think of one relationship or routine where you default to "Story A." What might "the truth" actually look like if you looked past the story?

  • 16 | What Adopting 3 Kids at 48 Taught Her About Perfectionism & Boundaries with Billie-Jo Cochran
    2026/08/25

Are you saying yes to everything because you feel guilty saying no — even when it's draining you?

Do you have a "trigger point" (dishes in the sink, an overflowing laundry basket) that sends your whole day sideways?

Is your nervous system stuck in survival mode because your schedule is packed minute by minute?

    Episode Highlights

Today, I sit down with Billie-Jo Cochran — host of the Working Homeschool Mom podcast, mom coach, and founder of The Simplified Mom. Billie Jo shares the incredible story of adopting three kids at age 48, and how she quickly learned that chasing perfectionism for her kids was actually burning her out. She opens up about the mom guilt that came with setting boundaries — saying no to extra activities, no longer packing lunches, protecting her mornings — and how she had to work through that guilt to give her kids what they truly needed: a mom who was calm, grounded, and present, not exhausted and stretched thin.

We talk through what it really looks like to build routines that support your nervous system instead of overwhelming it — routines flexible enough to bend with real life, not rigid to-do lists that set you up to fail. Billie-Jo shares her "triggers" concept (for her, it's dishes left in the sink) and her go-to metaphor for emotional regulation: picture a water bottle being squeezed over and over until it crumples empty — that's what happens to us moms when we never refill our own cup. If you're an ambitious mom feeling burned out, anxious, or like you're failing everyone by trying to do it all, this episode is your permission slip to simplify, set the boundary, and become the present mom your family actually needs — not the perfect one you think they want.

This episode is for the working, homeschooling, or simply stretched-too-thin mom who is ready to trade burnout and control for peace, presence, and a little bit of grace.

    1. Where do you feel like your "water bottle" gets squeezed empty most during the week — and what's one small way you could refill it?
    2. What's your "trigger point" (like Billie-Jo's dishes in the sink), and what boundary could help protect your peace around it?

  • 15 | Sick of Hustling to Get Ahead? How Ignoring the Warning Signs Led to Burnout with Tina Kapp-Kailea
    2026/08/18
Why do high-achieving women refuse to slow down and take care of themselves — even when their body is begging them to? What happens when you suppress grief instead of process it, and how does that suppressed emotion quietly invade your mental and physical health? In this episode, I sit down with Tina Kapp-Kailea — TEDx speaker, multiple best-selling author, award-winning embodiment coach, and founder of Book Mystic — for a conversation that goes straight to the heart of what so many ambitious moms are carrying: burnout, suppressed emotional regulation, and a nervous system that has forgotten what safety feels like. Tina shares her own journey through the corporate world, where she had the title, the corner office, and the international travel, but on the inside she was running on empty. Without boundaries in place, she found herself on what she calls the "burnout spiral," eventually facing anxiety, and suppressed grief after experiencing multiple miscarriages. What I love about this conversation is how honest Tina is about the connection between stress and the body — she opens up about how a dysregulated nervous system and years of not feeling "good enough" showed up physically, not just emotionally. We talk about the "corporate corset" so many of us wear — contorting ourselves into a version we think is acceptable — and why practicing mindfulness, learning to say no, and getting curious about what your body is trying to tell you are the real first steps toward healing. Tina also opens up about her work as a "book doula," helping women excavate their deepest stories and turn them into books that create real connection, and why writing (even just for yourself) can be one of the most powerful tools for emotional regulation and reclaiming your voice. This episode is for the present mom and high-achieving woman who feels like she's doing it all, but still feels empty inside. If you've ever felt like you're not enough, like rest has to be earned, or like your story is something to hide rather than share — this conversation is your permission slip to come home to yourself. About Tina Kapp-Kailea Tina Kapp-Kailea is a TEDx speaker, multiple best-selling author, award-winning embodiment coach, and founder of Book Mystic. Known as a "book doula," she helps aspiring authors transform their stories, wisdom, and lived experience into impactful books through a complete self-publishing journey — coaching, editing, proofreading, formatting, publishing, and launch support. Tina is passionate about authentic leadership and personal transformation, and she believes our greatest challenges often become the foundation of our greatest purpose. She refers to herself as a "wild executive," blending her corporate background with a trauma-informed, embodied approach to coaching and storytelling.
