In 1990, Nina moved back to the Valley, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, followed by a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems. Showcasing her commitment to blending business acumen with technological expertise.Nina dedicated 18 years of her career to Honeywell, contributing significantly to the company's success and honing her skills in a dynamic environment. Currently, she brings her wealth of experience and innovative thinking to her role at American Family Insurance, where she continues to excel and make an impact.

    A proud cycle breaker from the tough streets of West Phoenix, Angela Salazar overcame poverty and gang culture with resilience, mentorship, and community support from Chicanos Por La Causa and Phoenix Job Corps. As Trainee Government Association President, she led student-driven change. At the University of Phoenix, she rose from the file room to Corporate Trainer in just one year, designing streamlined training systems and coaching new hires into confident professionals.

    Angela’s impact extends beyond corporate walls. She led La Fuerza (Hispanic ERG), served as Unified ERG Strategy Director, and held a board seat with ALPFA Phoenix as Community Affairs Director. A passionate advocate for DEI, professional empowerment, and racial justice, she bridges communities and inspires change.
