The Hong Kong Jockey Ckub Restart Programme is, in my opinion, one of the worlds leading Retraining Programme. It was an absolute honour to speak to Joss about the Restart Programme and what the steps are that happen to the horses when they leave racing and how the horses future post racing is even thought about before they enter the country to race.

This fabulous scheme, not only has 100% traceability on their horses when they leave racing, but they reach out on a global scale to trusted and reputable retrainers, ensuring that the horses have their security and happiness for the rest of their lives secured.

Please share this conversation far and wide. The RESTART programme is truly remarkable and I feel that more should know about it, learn from it and praise the phenomenal work that they are doing
