  • Alien Agenda With Gene P. Abel, Season 3, Two More Encounters
    2025/07/15

A focus on the Cash-Landrum incident of 1980 and the Baffin Island sighting of 2018.

Colonel Jean provides details about the Cash-Landrum incident, noting the diamond-shaped craft with flames and intense heat.

The incident involved Betty Cash and her seven-year-old grandson, Colby, who witnessed the craft while driving home. Betty Cash described the craft as metallic silver, about the size of a water tower, and reported intense heat and flames. Betty reported that the craft's heat caused her car's metal to become hot, and her hand was burned on the door handle.

Vickie Landrum described the vinyl dashboard softening and leaving her handprint. Investigators took pictures of Vickie's handprint, which were shown in the 1985 HBO documentary "What's Going On." The women reported seeing helicopters surrounding the craft, which were thought to be Chinook helicopters.

The encounter lasted about 20 minutes, and the women reported symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Betty Cash's symptoms were more severe, including large blisters and skin loss, leading to a 12-day hospital stay. Vickie Landrum developed a cataract, and Betty Cash was treated for breast cancer in 1983.
In 1981, Betty Cash drew a sketch of the craft, and Colby confirmed its diamond shape.

The women contacted their US Senators and sued the government, but no evidence of air force involvement was found, leading to the case's dismissal in 1986.
The incident was covered by ABC News and other media, including the UFO cover-up show and "Unresolved Mysteries."
Betty Cash died 18 years to the day of the encounter, and Vickie Landrum died in 2007.

  • Alien Agenda With Gene P. Abel, Season 3, The Phoenix Lights
    2025/07/01
This episode discusses the Phoenix Lights incident, the most widely reported UFO event in the U.S., which was observed on March 13, 1997. Thousands saw glowing orbs in California, New Mexico, Nevada, and Arizona, with reports starting around 8 PM. The lights were described as V-shaped and massive, with some claiming they were over a mile wide. The Air Force initially claimed it was a flare exercise, but this didn't align with observations. Actor Kurt Russell and Dr. Lynn D. Catelli documented similar sightings before the event. Despite extensive investigations, the true nature of the Phoenix Lights remains a mystery. Phoenix Lights, a significant UFO event observed by civilians, police, and pilots, including actor Kurt Russell. The event is compared to other notable incidents, such as Roswell and the Tic Tac incident. Colonel Gene explains that the Phoenix Lights incident is the most widely witnessed UFO event in U.S. history, surpassing even the Roswell incident and the Tic Tac incident. The sighting began on March 13, 1997, in parts of California and New Mexico, and then moved southeast to Phoenix, Arizona. Thousands of people witnessed the glowing orbs, with the first detailed reports coming from Henderson, Nevada, around 8 PM. The lights were described as being in a V-shape and were reported to be huge, with some claiming they were as large as a battleship or over a mile across. At around 10 PM, a second sighting occurred, with six orbs in a straight line, and pictures were taken showing the glowing orbs. There was no sound or indication of propulsion systems, and the governor of Arizona, Fife Symington, initially ridiculed the incident. Symington later admitted to seeing the lights and claimed they were bigger than anything he had ever seen, indicating they were not flares. The Air Force claimed the lights were from a training exercise dropping flares, but this did not align with the observations. Kirk Russell's Account and Dr. Lynn D. Catelli's Investigation Actor Kurt Russell observed the lights while flying into Phoenix, describing them as a uniform V-shape hovering without sound. Dr. Lynn D. Catelli and her husband, both physicians, conducted the most extensive investigation of the Phoenix Lights incident. Dr. Catelli began seeing similar lights in Phoenix as early as February 1995, describing them as a pyramid-shaped series of lights. She took pictures and videos of the lights, which were later used in her book and subsequent editions. Dr. Catelli continued to see the glowing orbs every night for a week, taking videos and pictures. On March 4, she and her husband saw a huge orb in the sky, and when viewed through a telescope, it appeared as a glowing sphere. Dr. Catelli contacted the Arizona Republic newspaper and Lake Air Force Base but received no confirmation. She arranged to meet with a MUFON investigator on March 12, 1997, but the meeting was postponed until after the Phoenix Lights incident. Aftermath and Controversy Dr. Catelli did not witness the Phoenix Lights on March 13 but learned about the incident from the MUFON investigator the following day. Her pictures and videos made her a significant story in the press, with her books and media appearances fueling controversy. Despite the extensive documentation and observations, the exact nature of the Phoenix Lights remains a mystery. To be a guest on Alien Agenda with Gene P.
