In Against Celsus, a significant apologetic work by Church Father Origen of Alexandria, written around 248 AD, the author takes a stand against the critiques of Celsus, a prominent pagan philosopher who launched a fierce attack on Christianity in his treatise The True Word. Celsuss criticisms ranged from calling Christian doctrines irrational to labeling Christians as uneducated and deluded. He accused Jesus of utilizing black magic for miracles and of borrowing teachings from Plato. Celsuss warning about Christianity undermining traditional values and leading society astray adds a compelling dimension to this historical debate.Copyright Politics, Philosophy, Religion キリスト教 スピリチュアリティ 世界 聖職・福音主義
