First published in 1885; Nobody has heard of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was still writing them and they are first published in 1887, Jack the Ripper still has 3 years to plan his grisly murders in the east end of London, and football hasn't been officially recorded as being played yet, you'll have to wait another 5 years to watch Scotland vs England in Glasgow.
