  • A travelers Guide to Chriden episode 2 Alignment
    2023/01/09

Hi there. My name is Devon. I have been playing dungeons and dragons for almost 30 years, and you have found yourself in the library of ages. From here all of the knowledge about Chriden exists, you need only seek it. Chriden is a fictional world of my own design that I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons on for more than two decades. Every player that has ever sat at my table has had input to the geography of Chriden, the lore and most importantly the heroes and their exploits. We have taken the standard lore of Dungeons and Dragons, altered it, and made it our own. Each episode we will touch on the surface lore as written before taking a deep dive into the lore of chriden, its heroes, its people, its cities, its gods, and even the planet Safalden as a whole. Today we are going to cover planar cosmology, and alignment. Before we begin, there is something I would like to note. The following deals with a very up for debate aspect of the game, and my perspective on it is only one of many. Nothing I say should be brought to your table as the defacto rulings to push on your DM but if your DM struggles with alignment and is looking for some alternate resources perhaps recommend a listen, my aim in this episode is to explain how I have made alignment work over the years to integrate it into my table without it just feeling like a footnote on a character sheet For more information feel free to head over to www.Chriden.com

My name is Devon, and thank you for joining me on a travelers guide to Chriden. On this episode we will touch base on the creation of  Chriden, as well as lay out the ground work for everything else we will talk about on future episodes. Feel free to visit www.chriden.com for up to date information regarding releases and Chriden related media, as well as easy links to my social media accounts where I spend more time discussing dungeons and dragons than may be reasonable.
