  • Episode 2: Grieving as a Christian – Faith When You've Lost Someone
    2026/08/02

"If God loves me – why did this person have to die? Why isn't God answering my prayers?" These aren't disrespectful questions. They're honest ones, and so many people of faith carry them through their grief.

In this episode, I speak very personally – about the loss that changed my life, and the path where my faith didn't break, but grew deeper instead. We'll look together at Job, who argued with God; at Jesus, who wept at the tomb of his friend; and at the cross – the place where God himself knows what suffering feels like.

This isn't about easy answers. It's about a hope that doesn't carry you instead of the grief, but right in the middle of it. For everyone who believes and grieves – and for anyone who wants to understand how those two can belong together.

    Come as you are.

  • Episode 1: The Four Phases of Grief – How Grief Really Works
    2026/08/02

"Am I normal? Is something wrong with me?" A lot of people ask themselves this when they're grieving. In this episode, I want to give you a gentle answer.

We'll look together at the four phases of grief, based on the work of Swiss psychologist Verena Kast: the first shock that protects us; the emotions that break open and need to be felt; remembering and letting go; and finally, finding your way back to life. I'll also explain why the famous model by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross was actually made for the dying – and what that means for those of us left behind.

These phases aren't a fixed schedule. They look different for everyone, and they move at their own pace. It's a gentle map that shows you one thing: what you're feeling makes sense – and you're not alone.

    Come as you are.
