Numbers are my kryptonite, they have a survival vibration that runs deep. As far back as I can remember there is a longing for security and safety with in numbers. Counting my piggy bank allowed that desire to be met.
Now, cue my endless tango with the holy trinity: bank balance, calories consumed, and the dreaded number on the scale, all conspiring to twist my sense of self-worth into a rollercoaster of highs and lows.
