September is Hope & Prayer Month at Rise 96.5, and this month our Rise presenters have leant into this theme with a daily moment of encouragement, reflection and prayer.

We end our 30 days of hope and prayer with a reflection from Steff on a doxology - that is a short hymn or expression of praise to God, and this one concludes the book of Jude. In just a few words we are reminded of God's protection, our blameless standing before God, and the great joy and eternal praise we will experience in heaven.

Our reset for today is 'The God who has carried you through this month will carry you into tomorrow'.

In today's episode, Ken shares some thoughts around one of the most well known and used benedictions - the Aaronic Blessing. This blessing is found in Numbers, where God instructed Moses to tell Aaron and his sons to bless the people of Israel. The core promise of this blessing is God's personal, active commitment to his people. Instead of a distant deity, the blessing guarantees that the Creator of the universe is intimately involved in your daily life.

As we move towards the end of this special series, Iris opens the Psalms at chapter 91 where God promises us His safety and peace. This passage that talks about dwelling in the shelter of the Most High, reminds us that God acts as a strong tower and safe place during hard times. We will have hard times in our lives, but God promises He will be there through them.

Our reset for today is 'God doesn't promise a life without storms; He promises to be with you in them'.
