Our guest this week is my friend and neighbor, Larsen McBride. Aside from being an enlightened music aficionado as well as a gifted musician, Larsen is a professional natural scientist—his job title is literally Scientist III, and the jury’s out on whether he ever wants to be a Scientist IV because he belongs out in the woods and the fields, not behind a desk. In my phone, Larsen’s nickname is "Planta Claus" because of his penchant for gifting friends and neighbors various trees, herbs, and native flora, all for the good of the network.
