In this episode, I had a nice chat with B and K from the band Bussy Kween Power Trip, from Chicago, Illinois. Their debut album, Coming With the Strap, came out earlier this year. I actually saw them in Philly a few months ago at Break Free Fest, and they absolutely melted my face off. B’s singing is absolutely scorching, and K’s bass playing, I swear, some of the best in the land. We cover topics related to absurdity, performance, and Cracker Barrel.
