Show Notes:
Your actions matter. Far too often, other people discredit the importance of the small actions they take regularly. It's those small steps that will either be the ticket to the exact life you want or staying stuck where you're at or worse off.
How to get moving:
- Give yourself a specific time
- Break into chunks (by importance, temporal, smallest piece)
- Just do it. It won’t be perfect.
- You can’t improve in a vacuum.
There was a class where students were learning how to sculpt clay. For the final exam, the teacher gave the students a choice of how he would grade their test. Either based on quantity or quality. The students who picked quality only needed to create one pot, but I needed to be the absolute best they could make. The other students in the quantity group simply needed to create as many pots as they could and the quality wouldn’t impact their grade.
What’s stopping you from taking action toward your goals?
- Not good enough?
- Want to get it just right?
- Don’t have time to do it all?
What’s the next small step you can take toward the life you want? Toward achieving your big goal?
Set a specific time. And do it.
