How People Drain Us

Sensers!

Energy is key in a 24 hour span and some won’t rest until they take your energy for their own sake. What is something that you find to be draining by people, yourself, or just in general that takes away energy in your life?

So it’s inevitable that we will certainly find our fair share of challenges that we must overcome to achieve our goals in this life, but some don’t believe it’s worth it…to them. How about for you though? What’s a pain you’re willing to endure in order to have the desired outcome for your life?

One thing that my experience in the military taught me was the amount of differences in the people that we meet who become lifelong friends. We had people from Georgia, North Carolina (come on and raise up!), California, Miami, Tampa, Detroit (313!), New Orleans and of course me from Suffolk, VA but we all did things a certain way and some of us even talked a certain way. We embraced each other’s differences and even laughed at our differences at times. How do you handle being around people from different cultures?

Men, we know that our journey isn’t the easiest to digest, but what are some challenges or hurdles that you feel us men have to endure? Is it a strength ordeal? Is it being the biggest? Is it being the toughest?

How many times have you been around the negative “Nancie’s” of the world and wonder how the fuck am I going to coexist with these people in this environment? Well I’ve certainly been around some people that clearly don’t see the upside to their current situation, but we can overcome that mindset with a simple shift of perspective.

For all the men reading this, what exactly were you taught at an early age on how to be a man? Perhaps a credible source or looking back was it just some immature males who don’t know how to be one themselves? What does it mean to become man? What makes a man?

How We Love

I believe a lot of us have gone through trials and tribulations that somehow led us to a form of an awakening that changed everything in which how we carried ourselves from that point forward. You recognized that you weren’t the same person you once held onto as your identity. You may have unlearned much of what was taught in adolescence or decided that you were going to live a more virtuous lifestyle. Whatever the case is, that incident led to progress and awareness opening your eyes to much in God’s Universe that would protect you.

Love is something that we directly or indirectly long for in this life. We are love yet somehow we chase it as if we don’t already have the love required to live. More importantly, what place or role does love play in our lives? Do we misconstrue love to be attention? Acceptance? Validation? Or as Chris Rock states “we traded Love for Likes”. Let’s talk about love and its roles.

Do you remember what you were insecure about when you were in school? The things that would haunt you if it were to happen in school. I remember many things that don’t mean shit today for obvious reasons, but in the 1900’s I was so concerned about a bunch of of things that never happened. Some things did happened and what was interesting is that it was worse in my head than in reality. Let’s discuss it.
