With this episode we are starting a series centered on the idea of "going to the next level". We will be speaking to local coaches and players about their perspectives on reaching the next level weather that's in basketball or life. In this episode we spoke with Steve Henderson, head boys basketball coach and a Dean at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy here in Brevard County. For those who don’t know Coach Henderson he has had an incredibly active career coaching basketball here in Brevard. While in college, Henderson began his coaching journey at his alma mater, Melbourne Central Catholic High School, helping to coach the junior varsity team, whereupon graduating from FSU he became the head JV coach and an assistant varsity coach. After his time at MCC, Henderson accepted a position at Holy Trinity where he has spent the last two decades of his career, 19 of which as the head boys varsity coach. Henderson has led Holy Trinity to 3 final 4 appearances, 7 district championships, all while boasting a record of 349 wins to 132 losses making him the most successful basketball coach in the school’s history. Come listen to his insights into the game of basketball and his passion for developing young athletes into successful men both on and off the court.
