Hey all! It's time for a bittersweet episode — this month, we sat down with Rumcast veteran Kate Perry, who will be stepping away from her position at La Maison & Velier at the end of the year for a new chapter outside the world of rum.
Kate told us all about what's next, why she decided to pursue something outside the rum and spirits industry, and reflected on how much has changed for rum over the last decade. It was a great look back at the development of rum in the U.S. through the lens of Kate's work at Velier and La Maison & Velier, with lots of great stories along the way. Have a listen and raise a glass to Kate with us.
