Today, we continue the 1 Thessalonians sermon series with a sermon from chapter 2, verses 13-20. The sermon title is “The Word at Work.”
God’s Word is so much words than simply words on a page. God’s Word is inspired and inerrant and it is to be at work in those who believe. Paul reminds us that the gospel is what changes lives, even in the face of hardship.
This passage also gives us a glimpse into the heart of a shepherd. We see Paul’s love for the Thessalonians, his willingness to suffer for the sake of the gospel, and his joy in seeing them walk with Christ.
