 The English script is below.第二回目のテーマは「空間を形作るアート」。私自身が制作する作品ヘンプシリーズのZAMAを通じてアートが空間にどんな作用をもたらすのかを一緒に考えていきます。—[日本語スクリプト]こんにちは。ヒロミキムです。この番組ではアートや素材、空間にまつわる物語をデザインや文化の視点からお届けしています。第二回目のテーマは「空間を形作るアート」。私自身が制作する作品ヘンプシリーズのZAMAを通じてアートが空間にどんな作用をもたらすのかを一緒に考えていきます。アートと聞くと、まず目で見るものと言うイメージが強いかもしれません。でも、わたくしが制作を通して、日々感じるのは、アートはもっと多層的な体験だと言うことです。空間の中では、視覚だけでなく、音や触覚空気感までも私たちの感覚に影響を与えています。特に都市生活の中では目に見えない音のノイズが無意識のうちにストレスや不調を引き起こしていることもあります。私の作品ヘンプシリーズは視覚的な美しさに加えて私の作品ヘンプシリーズは視覚的な美しさに加えて空間、そのものに働きかける機能を持っています。例えば 1つ目は光と影の構成。ヘンプ素材の柔らかな陰影や幾学的な構成は、空間にリズムと静けさを生み出します。自然光や照明の変化によって、その表情は、 1日の中でも刻々と変化していきます。自然光や照明の変化によって、その表情は 1日の中でも刻々と変化していきます。 2つ目は音環境への作用。作品の裏には吸音防音剤が施されており、室内の反響音や外からの騒音を和らげてくれる役割を果たしています。これはギャラリーやホテル図書館オフィスなど静寂を必要とする空間で、特に効果を発揮します。3つ目は素材の存在感。自然素材であるヘンプの質感は、人間の感覚に優しく働きかけ、空間に温かみや安心感を与えてくれます。ただ飾るのではなく整えると言う役割を持ったアートです。このように私のヘンプシリーズは単に壁にかける装飾ではなく、空間と対話し、環境と共鳴する存在です。私はこれまで建築家やインテリアデザイナーの方々とも対応を重ねてきました。その中で感じるのは、これからの空間作りには、機能性と感性の両立が求められていると言うことです。アートは、空間の最後の一手ではなく、最初から設計に組み込むことで、建築やインテリアとも呼吸し、共存するものになると思っています。いかがでしたでしょうか今回は「空間を形作るアート」というテーマでお話ししました。次回は「素材の物語：なぜ天然素材が今再注目されているのか」をテーマにお届けする予定です。ぜひチャンネル登録フォローをして次回の配信もお楽しみに。最後までご視聴いただきありがとうございました。ヒロミキムでした。—[English script]002: Art That Shapes SpaceHello, this is Hiromi Kim.In this program, I share stories about art, materials, and space—told from the perspective of design and culture.The theme of this second episode is "Art That Shapes Space."Through my own series of works called HEMP, particularly the piece titled ZAMA, I’d like to explore how art influences and transforms the spaces we inhabit.When people hear the word "art," they often think of something to look at—something visual.But through my creative process, I’ve come to believe that art is a much more multi-sensory experience.Within a space, it's not just our eyes that are engaged—our perception is also shaped by sound, touch, and even the subtle atmosphere.Especially in urban environments, invisible noise can cause stress or discomfort without us even realizing it.My HEMP series aims to respond not only to visual beauty, but also to the needs of space itself.Let me share three ways my works interact with space:First, the interplay of light and shadow.The softness of hemp fibers and their geometric composition create a rhythm and stillness in the space.As natural light or artificial lighting changes throughout the day, the piece takes on new expressions—ever-shifting and alive.Second, acoustic function.Each piece is backed with sound-absorbing material, reducing echo and blocking external noise.This is especially effective in galleries, hotels, libraries, or offices—places that call for a sense of calm and quiet.Third, the presence of the material itself.The natural texture of hemp has a gentle, grounding ...
