  • A Long Day with People, Little Conversations, and Sleepy Thoughts Japanese Bedtime Talk
    2026/10/29

Tonight, I quietly look back on a day when I spent many hours with people for the first time in a while.

I talk about conversations with two, three, or four people at once, seeing some familiar faces again, chatting about dance, and asking a slightly strange question about mushrooms. I also drift into thoughts about hobbies, and how being with someone in person feels a little different from talking through a screen.

The talk wanders here and there, in my usual everyday Japanese. Even if you don’t catch every word, you can let the rhythm and tone of the voice carry you.

Relax with slow, soft Japanese as you drift into sleep.
Perfect for winding down, easing insomnia, and enjoying peaceful nights. 🌙✨

  • Morning Yoga, Pear Risotto, and a Little Ginger Sauce Japanese Bedtime Talk
    2026/10/22

In tonight’s gentle episode, I talk about a quiet day off as the mornings start to get chilly.

I share doing yoga on my balcony with the morning sun, my monthly lunch at a favorite restaurant where I always sit at the same counter seat, a slightly puzzling little conversation there, and autumn chestnut desserts. Later, a simple dinner at home and a homemade ginger sauce I’ve been enjoying lately.

Most of it is about food, as usual. Just everyday Japanese, drifting slowly toward sleep.

Relax with slow, soft Japanese as you drift into sleep.
Perfect for winding down, easing insomnia, and enjoying peaceful nights. 🌙✨

  • Wooden Geta, a Surprised Face, and My Own Pillow Japanese Bedtime Talk
    2026/10/15

In this cozy episode of うとうとtime, I share a short solo trip to Hita, a small town in Oita surrounded by mountains.

I talk about walking through an old Edo-era street, shopkeepers who simply ask where you’re from, buying a pair of wooden geta for myself, and a stranger who became my travel companion for the next day. There’s also a statue from Attack on Titan, and the view of mountains in every direction.

And of course, coming home to my own bed and pillow at the end.

Relax with slow, soft Japanese as you drift into sleep.
Perfect for winding down, easing insomnia, and enjoying peaceful nights. 🌙✨
