    2025/10/06

  • Priesthood Means Sacrifice
    2025/09/28

26th Sunday in Ordinary Time | 09/28/25 – Priesthood Sunday

On this Priesthood Sunday, Fr. Martin explores the three kinds of priesthood in the Church—Christ’s High Priesthood, the Ministerial Priesthood, and the Royal Priesthood of all the baptized—and the central theme they share: sacrifice.

He reflects on the barriers that hold us back from a life of sacrificial love, including laziness, comfort, wealth, and indifference, and encourages listeners to embrace a life devoted to righteousness, faith, love, and service. Through Scripture, personal testimony, and reflection, this homily challenges us to live fully for God and for one another.

  • Intro to Podcast
    2025/09/22

Hello everyone, and welcome to Sunday Homilies with Father Martin.

I’m Father Martin, and I want to share a little about why this podcast is back. In March 2020, when COVID shut down our churches, I started my first homily podcast—Weekly Homilies with Father Martin—to stay connected with parishioners and continue sharing God’s Word.

When in-person Mass resumed and parish life became busier, I had to pause the podcast. But in recent months, a number of you have asked me to bring it back, and I felt the gentle nudge of the Holy Spirit to do so.

So here we are. Almost every week, you’ll hear my Sunday homilies—reflections on God’s Word for our lives today. My prayer is that these words will bless you and that the Lord will use them to speak to your heart.

    Welcome back—and enjoy!
