• Episode Four: Mike Williams—Charity, Impact & Rock’n On The Runway | Sapp-Trapp SIAI Podcast
    2025/10/03

In Episode 4 of the Sapp-Trapp Stillness Is an Illness Podcast, Patrick Sapp, James Trapp, and Brian Moss sit down with Clemson alum and community leader Mike Williams, co-founder of the long-running charity event Rock’n On The Runway.

From the tailgate right outside Death Valley, the crew and Mike dive into the heart behind Rock’n On The Runway, a one-of-a-kind event that has raised vital support for children’s causes across the Upstate. They talk about the importance of giving back, building something bigger than yourself, and creating opportunities that inspire the next generation.

A significant portion of the funds raised through Rock’n On The Runway benefits Pendleton Place, a nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping youth safe and supporting families in crisis through prevention, assessment, and intervention. Since its founding in 1975, Pendleton Place has been a cornerstone in the Upstate, offering programs that provide housing, hope, and healing to children and families experiencing foster care, homelessness, poverty, and other forms of trauma.

We also take a moment to thank Mike for letting us use part of his tailgate spot at Clemson to record this first round of podcasts.

This episode captures what SIAI is all about—purpose, movement, and community in action. Tune in and see how leaders like Mike Williams are keeping that momentum alive.

  • Episode One: Motion Is Medicine | Sapp-Trapp Stillness Is an Illness Podcast
    2025/09/15

The Stillness Is an Illness Podcast launches with an introduction to the movement that’s changing the way we think about health, purpose, and community. Created by Clemson legends and former NFL players Patrick Sapp, James Trapp, alongside Dan Watson, and Brian Moss, Stillness Is an Illness (SIAI) is more than a motto—it’s a mission.

Born from the belief that motion is medicine, SIAI exists to inspire people to move intentionally, think differently, and live purposefully. Through the philosophy of PADL247—Positive Activities of Daily Living—the movement challenges the status quo by showing how small, consistent actions create lasting transformation.

In this first episode, the team shares how SIAI began, why “stillness is an illness,” and how simple practices like the 15-5 to Stay Alive method (15 reps of 5 exercises spread throughout the day) can help anyone build vitality, resilience, and momentum.

SIAI is more than fitness. It’s a mindset, a community, and a way of life—one that uplifts individuals, fuels clarity, and creates ripple effects of strength in the world around us.
