  • Episode 6: The Art of Leadership
    2025/08/20

Thomas McGlynn is the CEO of BresicWhitney, leading six offices, 211 staff, just under 5,000 properties under management, and over 1,400 sales each year. Under his leadership, the business is on track for $75 million in turnover, with a vision of becoming Sydney’s number one real estate agency and ultimately reaching a $100 million valuation.

Beyond the numbers, Thomas is a calm and empathetic leader, a devoted husband, and a father who values balance as much as achievement. In this episode, we talk about leadership, culture, fatherhood, marriage, and what it really takes to grow a business while staying grounded in life.

  • Episode 5: AREC Talk: Building a Meaningful Life Inside a Successful Career
    2025/07/16

In this special episode, I share my AREC 2025 keynote: "How to Build a Meaningful Life Inside a Successful Career." It’s a personal one. I reflect on 23 years in real estate and the brutal truths I’ve learned along the way. In 2021, I had it all, until I didn’t. It was the most sales I’d ever made, record market share, the house, the cars, outward success. But behind the scenes, I was breaking. I lost my marriage. I was diagnosed with cancer. And I realised the version of success I was chasing came at a cost I could no longer afford. There was no balance, no space for my family, no real connection to the life I thought I was building.

This talk is about what worked, what nearly destroyed me, and how I’ve come back stronger, not by chasing more, but by choosing better. It’s also filled with questions I’ve asked myself, ones you may want to answer too. Whether you’re just starting out or fighting to stay in the game, I hope this one lands where it needs to.

Behind the numbers is a story of pressure, purpose, and staying grounded through it all. Andrew is a devoted husband, an incredible father, and someone who prioritises health and consistency in every area of life. In this episode, we talk about what it really takes to make it work at the highest level: structure, self-awareness, and support systems that keep him steady. From navigating challenges behind the scenes to finding contentment after big milestones, this is a conversation about ambition, identity, and building a life that’s both successful and sustainable.

  • Episode 3: Not Here to Fit In
    2025/06/18

In this episode, I sit down with one of the country’s most respected, thought-provoking leaders and founder of BresicWhitney, Shannan Whitney. We talk about his leadership journey, what he believes he got right, what he’d do differently and how his upbringing, including losing connection with his father, shaped the way he leads and lives his life today. He opens up about the challenges of growing a fast-moving business, and the ongoing balancing act between work and family life. Shannan also shares his candid views on real estate agents, how they practice, how they’re perceived and reflects on the bold, often uncomfortable decisions he made early on, simply because he saw things differently. It’s honest, reflective, and deeply human.

  • Episode 2: I Shouldn’t Be Here. But I Am
    2025/06/05

Adrian sits down with his great friend Richie Harkham. In 2014, Richie’s life was split in two - before the crash, and everything after. A horrific motorbike accident nearly ended his life. He was thrown into oncoming traffic and, during one of his many surgeries, stopped breathing on the operating table. Doctors told him he’d never walk again and that his leg would need to be amputated. But Richie refused to accept that prognosis. What followed was years of relentless rehab, surgeries, and setbacks. He learned to walk again - not once, but eight times! And through it all, he developed an unshakable zest for life. This is a raw and powerful conversation about facing death, redefining what’s possible, choosing purpose over pity, and learning how to “bounce forward, not back”.
