Actually, for the Rogue Riders, there are no rules. There’s just what belongs to them and that which they take from others. The Dragon Elite have never had such a huge problem to deal with. Fighting magitech armies is one thing, cyborgs another, but battling their own, makes it personal. Sophia must first protect those the Rogue Riders are threatening. あらすじ・解説
Evil dragonriders are the worst. And the only ones who can defeat them are the good riders - the Dragon Elite. But fighting those who refuse to play by rules can be tricky. It’s difficult for Sophia Beaufont to get the upper hand when she refuses to loosen her morals. That’s exactly what makes her a Dragon Elite though. However, even if you’ve got angels on your side and fight for good, it doesn’t mean you’ll be successful.
The Rogue Riders won’t stop until they’ve won - or they are put down. Can Sophia stop the evil riders while also not starting a war that ends dragons forever? Or will they be forced to fight until there is no one left?

Ultimate finish!!
I just finished reading 3 days ago and just finished listening 1 day ago….this was a classic finish to such a great series…it was worth every second…justice and morality win the day the emotions in this book were so great speaking to a higher cause! I wrote a more in depth review on Amazon as usual the narration was spot on Dara brought life to all the characters and scenery with fervor…5 stars highly recommended you don’t wanna miss the penultimate finish way to go Ms. Noffke with another winner!!

So sad Sophia's story is over - but it's AMAZING!
Oh boy, I don't even know where to start with this book - I could not stop listening (finished it in one sitting), yet I didn't want it to end because I knew it was the last book in the Sophia series (sob sob).
We first meet Sophia way back in the first Liv Beaufont book as an 8 year old girl. Who knew she would go on to become what she is 24 books later. She has grown in so many ways - despite only 2-3 years elapsing in the span of both series, Sophia has become a very mature, thoughtful, young woman, whose sense of justice is clear throughout this series. She was born to be a dragon rider. And Lunis gets some of the credit for that.
As usual, Sophia is juggling many tasks - doing one task leads to her having to do another, and that one to another and so on just so she can get the first task completed; Lunis is his usual witty self (and there's one bit I'm still laughing at - it involves a snowball and that's all I'm saying on that - it's so freaking funny :D); Liv is worried about her baby and what the Genie has done to it; new angel dragon riders arrive - and one is a surprise in more ways than one.
Will the corrupt council members get their comeuppance at last? Will Mortimer be able to solve his problems with the Union? How many times will Ramy die? (Gotta laugh at that one - Ms Noffke really knows how to kill her friends lol)
Rudolf, despite being a complete airhead, comes through yet again. I didn't like his character when he was first introduced in the Liv books, but he grew on me and is now one of my favourites.
Versalee is causing major havoc in the world and must be stopped, but where is she and the rogue riders hiding?
There's so much going on in this book but it all comes together nicely and I admit, I cried ugly tears at the end.
I'm sad that this is the last book, but hopefully we will see Sophia, Liv and many other characters in Ms Noffke's next series (big hint - she does, YAY!!!)
Dara Rosenberg narratives this series superbly. .
